This product is treated road salt. It is bulk road salt that is treated with Magic Minus Zero, which is a patented, liquid blend of magnesium chloride.

Common Uses

The major benefits of using Magic Salt is that it melts ice and snow at much lower temperatures than untreated road salt. Other benefits are that it is less corrosive to concrete sidewalks, and that you can still achieve ice control without having sand and silt melt into drainage ways like salt sand does.
