This product is 100% bulk road salt that is not treated and it is used for controlling ice.

Common Uses

This product works well in the early or late winter season when temperatures aren’t super cold. Untreated salt is not typically recommended in the heart of a Maine winter as it is essentially ineffective once temperatures reach 15 degrees and below.
